Museum is a non profit 501(c) (3) corporation that needs and depends upon your generosity to continue it's work. We accept donations by calling 1-800-973-5377. Donation may also be made by check, by sending your contribution to the address listed below. If you would like your donation to go to the Capital Fund which will be used to match grant funds for historic preservation or acquisition of artifacts, please let us know. Otherwise, donations will go to the General Fund, which is used for continuing museum operations. Your donation is tax deductible.

Gift in Honor or in Memory
"In Honor Of"
Celebrate your loved one's passion for railroading with a gift in honor or in memory. The contribution you make will be recognized with a card informing the person you are honoring that you have made a generous contribution to the Museum in his or her name.
"In Memory Of"
Remember someone who appreciated railroading during his or her lifetime with a memorial gift to the Museum. Your tribute will be recognized with a gift card to the family or friends you designate.

Goods and Services
If you have railway artifacts, equipment, memorabilia, books, maps, timetables or other paperwork, we are always interested in additions to our museum collection. We also need restoration supplies such as lumber and hardware, also rail, ties, tie plates and switch parts which need not be new, for track improvements. Please contact our office to make arrangements for material donations. Please estimate the value of your donation and we will provide documentation for income tax purposes.
Memberships
Join Rocky Mountain Railway & Mining Museum and become involved in the dream to save railway history, preserve important artifacts and help us build a first class railroad museum. As a RMR&MM Member you will have the opportunity to participate in the fun and planning of our projects and events. Any person over 18, or an organization with an interest in railroading who shares our goals are eligible to join. You are not required to live in the Yreka area or to attend meetings. We offer four levels of membership:
- Associate Member - $50.00 gift per year.
- Contributing Member - $100.00 gift per year.
- Lifetime Member- $500.00 one time gift.
- Corporate Member - $1000.00 gift per year. Entitled to nominal recognition and advertising in adwork. Listing on website and elsewhere as a supporter. A corporate donation is an excellent way to become a good business citizen and also to promote your business.
