Yeka Western Railroad begins the 2008 Season with our opening day on Saturday, June 7. 

 Our daily excursion trains are scheduled Wednesday through Sunday from June 7 until August 31. 

September 1 through October 31, excusrion rides are Saturdays and Sundays only.

Special Events will continue our season until December 23.

  Departure time for all excursion trains is 11 A.M.

       Reservations are always recommended.

* A child 5-12 years of age must be accompanied by a Cab Ticket holding adult. No children under 5 years of age.Two seats total per trip are available

Safety is our number one concern. Therefore children must be accompanied by and under the supervision of an adult at all times. Shoes must be worn at all times on and around the railroad.

 Travelers with Mobility Restrictions: The Railway does its best to accommodate passengers with limited mobility. However, due to the age of the equipment, limited services are available and advance notification of mobility restrictions is required. When making reservations, please let your agent know if passengers will be in a wheelchair. 

  Cancellation Policy: Train reservation cancellations must be made 48 hours prior to 12:00 noon on reservation date in order  to receive a refund. A $10.00 cancellation fee per train passenger will be deducted. No refunds will be given under 48 hours; however, your train travel can be rebooked for a future date within that same year. Special events are all excluded.

 

Disclaimer: Although we make every effort to provide our passengers with a steam locomotive train ride, in the event of mechanical or safety issues, we reserve the right to fulfill our scheduled train rides by

diesel engine.
